Another few weeks in the days of our lives

Over the past two weeks we have had very busy time in London, seeing quite a few different people at different functions.  Two weekends ago Benny went to a European Cup rugby match involving our local team in South-West London Harlequins.  They won convincingly to advance to the quarter finals in the coming weeks.  After the match Sarah met up with the rest of the group after a day out shopping in the city.  On the Sunday we had a day at home primarily, with Sarah's cousin David coming over for dinner. We made a lovely dinner and had a great time catching up.

During the following week we were out mosts nights seeing various people after the Christmas/New Year break for dinner.  Towards the end of the week the weather changed and we had quite a bit of snow from Friday to Sunday, which made travel around london very interesting.

During that weekend it was one of our friend's birthday and he decided that he wanted to complete the Monopoly pub crawl, visiting all 22 streets and 4 stations on the board.  Starting at 10am and finishing at midnight we were successfully able to have atleast half a pint at all 26 of the pubs.  Sarah did not start at the beginning of the day, she joined the group later in the afternoon at lunch near piccadilly circus.

On Monday night this week Benny surprise me with date night. We went to dinner and the theatre in the West End. We had a lovely dinner at a French restaurant near the theatre and then ventured down to see One Man, Two Governors. This is a very funny production about a man who has two different bosses and about him getting confused with which tasks to complete for each boss.  We both very much enjoyed the show.

This week we are off to the Cotswolds for a couple of nights to stay in a cottage with a group of friends. Hopefully do a couple of walks in the countryside to try a few pubs.  It should be a great weekend.
