I on the other hand opted for something quieter. I spent the weekend with Melissa. We went to Salisbury which is famous for having the highest church spire. I couldn't believe how many germans were there to view the magnificent church. It was huge.
Salisbury is really pretty. We spent the day wandering around the shops and had a lovely pub lunch outside for a change.
I went back to Lee and Melissa's house on Saturday night. We had went to a great seafood restaurant. I had craved fish pie since returning from Australia and really needed my fix. I'm not sure what I'll do when we go back home as a never saw fish pie on the menu anywhere.
On Sunday Melissa and I went to see the sales at House of Fraser. I sadly wasn't as lucky as Melissa. After parting with Melissa I went back home and went for a long walk in the sunshine. I couldn't believe the number of people having picnics in the park, drinking at the local pub and kids playing soccer and riding their bikes. I can't wait until summer really arrives as this was just a nice sneak preview of what is yet to come. I walked all the way to Hammersmith Bridge and then good a tad bit lost. Lucky for the GPS on the iphone I found my way back.
Tonight I'm off to an awards dinner which should be a lot of fun. It is being held in a very fancy hotel close to Hyde Park. We fly early to Spain in the morning, hopefully beating the airport rush for Easter.
Happy Easter from Benny and I.
