We had a fairly quiet weekend in London. I think it may have been the slightly biggish Friday night that Benny had the night before. Benny had his dancing shoes on. For a moment I thought he and his friends were having flash backs of their days at school dancers. I left them to catch the very last tube home.

On Saturday morning we dropped in for a coffee and headed to House of Fraser to pick up a few things. After we went to the shops we went out for lunch and had a fairly early afternoon. It is sad but on the weekend we had to wind the clocks back an hour. Now the sun goes down at 4:30 in the afternoon. It feels so late now. I can understand how you can get down in the dumps in winter with so much darkness. Saturday night we went down to the local Thai because Benny was just a little tired after coming home at 4am. The main thing was that Ben had a wonderful night out.

On Sunday we decided to go to Saatchi Gallery via lunch and coffee in Sloane Square. We went for the first time to a cute cafe called Tomtom. I had cauliflower soup, it was so tasty. They have some really good soups over here. Last week Benny made a delicious Asian soup. On our way to the gallery we saw the men starting to put up Christmas lights up. The window displays have also started popping up over the city. Once we reached the gallery we sadly saw a sign saying closed. Not really what we were expecting. On Sunday night we went to dinner at our friends Loic and Kristin's house. It was a great night. They cooked crab chowder and it was really yummy.

This weekend we are going to watch the rowing between Hammersmith and Putney Bridge.
